Services. We service clients around the world. We'll
purchase anything you need within our capabilities.
We have purchased Gift Certificates for
clothing, jewelry, spa visits, perfume, music, and restaurants. We have
purchased a wide variety of Toys,
Books, and Specialty
Foods like canned
Lobster and Beluga Caviar (yikes...that's only about $135 for a teeny
weenie tin.)
And we've purchased odd items, too, like Ice
Cream (watch how fast we deliver those special requests) and
Organic Foods.
We have sought out and procured a wide variety of Liquor,
Wine, and Champagne.
No request is too odd.
As long, as the purchase is neither immoral nor illegal, you can count on
Applegate's to do the shopping for you.
We are not always successful in our search, but we try
very hard to accommodate your wishes.

How we charge for our services
- Upcharge on Retail Price 20% plus...
- Pick-up Fees PER store ($7.50 - $15.00) plus...
- Wrapping and Presentation Fees ($7.50 and up) plus...
- Rush Fees if ordering on the same day ($25.00)

We upcharge the retail
price on all items including gift certificates by 20%
(except wine, beer, and liquor).
Plus we charge a minimum of $20.00 or
$7.50 - 15.00 per
address/store we must visit to make purchases for you (whichever
is greater).
Your fee is determined by the
area of the city we must visit to make
your purchase. If we can make the
purchase nearby, and you are buying a basket, our pick-up fee is
$5.00/store. The fee will increase by $5.00 increments as we
move outside of our location.
(Please note: If you are
NOT purchasing a basket with your
order,
you will be charged a $20.00 pick-up fee per item.
Otherwise, you will pay the minimum pick-up fee.)
In the case of liquor and wine, we do NOT
charge any upcharge.
However, we do charge a pick-up fee
of $7.50 or $5.00 per bottle
(whichever is the greater amount), but
this lower fee applies only when a basket is
also being purchased.
A
Rush Fee of $25
(over and above the other fees)
will apply to same day purchasing.
Other costs include wrapping materials
(minimum fee for cello and bow $7.50 but most larger items average
$10-$15.00), cost of containers, delivery to the recipient, and taxes.
These costs
will vary with size and types of goods purchased.
We think you'll find using our services to be an excellent decision in
terms of money and time spent.
